We love, love, love audiobooks. I've been known to drive right by our intended destination (even school!) while engrossed in a Percy Jackson or Artemis Fowl audiobook. Nothing guarantees silence in the back seat quite like a great story, well-told on an iPod or a CD.
The beauty of audiobooks is their portability. Whether in a plane, train, automobile or airport waiting lounge, you can listen and be spirited away into a novel or storyline that is engrossing and captivating.
